After her piano studies, she devoted herself to early music, graduating in harpsichord under the guidance of Ottavio Dantone. She has performed as a soloist, as well as in chamber ensembles and orchestras.
In addition to teaching music in public and private schools, she pursued a career in music organisation and artist management.
In 2006, she founded Chianti in Musica, an event she continues to direct, organizing courses and concerts in Tuscany.
Since 2004, she has been responsible for the artistic administration, organisation, and international projects of Divertimento Ensemble.

Graduated in Composition with a musicological focus from the Milan Conservatory and in Piano from the Verona Conservatory, Raffaella Valsecchi specializes in music-related communication for musical production organizations and higher education institutions in the arts and music.
Since 2023, she has been the Head of Communications and Press Relations for the Milano Musica Festival. Since 2019, she has served as a Communications and Public Relations Officer at the Milan Conservatory, where she had previously been a consultant since 2008. Since 2015, she has been responsible for communications and press relations for Divertimento Ensemble, La Risonanza Barocca, and Chianti in Musica.
Before these roles, she served as Head of Press Office for: Contemporary Music Hub Milano (2015–2019), MMT Creative Lab (2015–2019), G. Donizetti Conservatory of Music in Bergamo (2015–2018), Edizioni Suvini Zerboni (2015, for the world premiere of Il suono giallo by Alessandro Solbiati at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna), Ghislierimusica (2008–2015), Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo (2008–2015), Bergamo Musica Festival Gaetano Donizetti, the opera season of the Fondazione Donizetti (2006–2015), Settimane Barocche di Brescia (2005–2018), Amici della Scala (2004–2005), Festival Umberto Giordano in Baveno (2002–2014), Orta Opera Festival (2002–2004), and Milano Classica (1998–2016).
Since 2015, she has been teaching principles and techniques of communication and event organization for cultural and live performance events at the Bergamo Conservatory.
