APPLICATION

The courses will take place from August 23 to 31, 2025. To enrol, please download the Chianti in Musica Application Form 2025, fill it in, and send it to segreteria@chiantinmusica.it along with the payment receipt for the €170.00 deposit by June 2025.

Active students: 400€

The fee includes:

• membership of Chianti in Musica ETS, worth Euro 20.00, compulsory for participation in the course;
• a daily individual lesson that the other students on the course are invited to attend;
• ensemble music lessons with the other students of their instrument course and with the students of the other instruments;
• participation in concerts, in agreement with the teacher;
• use of study rooms;
• certificate of attendance.

Auditor students: 100€

The fee includes:

• membership of Chianti in Musica ETS, worth Euro 20.00, compulsory for participation in the course;
• certificate of attendance.

The Palazzo Malaspina, in the central square of the village of San Donato in Poggio, hosts the course lectures. The students' concerts will take place in the Church of Santa Maria della Neve.

The registration fee for Chianti in Musica 2025 does not include accommodation in San Donato.

ACCOMMODATION

Chianti in Musica offers reserved apartments for course participants at special rates. Feel free to contact us to find the accommodation that best suits your needs. Our secretary will provide you with the available options and all the necessary information about your stay in Chianti. The estimated cost for the entire period ranges from €240 to €450 per person.

Meals: each flat has an equipped kitchen, and the village offers supermarkets, shops, pizzerias, restaurants, and bars. During the course, the canteen organized by Chianti in Musica in the pizzeria of the Teatro della Filarmonica is available to students and teachers. A first course, main course, vegetables, and fresh fruit are offered daily for €8.00. Also in the same building is the well-stocked i’ Poggio bar where Lorenzo prepares excellent dishes and offers Chianti in Musica musicians a 40% discount on all consumptions and take-away.

HOW TO REACH US

BY TRAIN

From Florence: Upon prior written agreement with the Chianti in Musica secretariat (segreteria@chiantinmusica.it) a personalised car transfer can be organised from the Esselunga supermarket in Galluzzo to San Donato in Poggio. To get to the meeting place from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station, go to the Scalette stop and take one of these three Autolinee Toscane city buses: No. 6, No. 11 or No. 36 in the direction of Galluzzo and get off after about fifteen stops at Le Romite, opposite the supermarket. There, you will find the car with the Chianti in Musica attendant.

Buy your bus ticket at the station. It is also possible to buy your ticket on board at no extra cost using credit, debit, prepaid, smartphone and wearable cards enabled of the Mastercard, Visa and American Express circuits.

From Poggibonsi: Upon prior written agreement with the Chianti in Musica secretariat (segreteria@chiantinmusica.it), a personalised car transfer can be organised from the railway station.

BY CAR

Exit A1 Impruneta. At the roundabout take the Firenze-Siena motorway and after about 20 km exit at San Donato in Poggio. From there turn right and follow the road signs for about 4 km.

BY FLIXBUS
